    1950's ROCKY MOUNTAIN POTTERY DOUBLE HANDLE VASE WOOD GRAIN PINE SCENT. This is a neat vintage 1950's Wood Grain Looking Pottery with a PINE SCENT. This is a great looking piece of Rocky Mountain Pottery Rocky Mountain Pottery Company (ROMCO) was founded by Leland Huston in 1953 and moved to Loveland in 1957. The firm's first pottery pieces were produced to resemble wood grain and included a pine scent. Many pottery designs were produced, but its most popular line remained the wood-grained design, along with the various colors of its hand-painted Pinecone line. The company was sold in 1981, then again in 1986, at which time the original business came to an end.
