Date correct Standard bore engine block *Casting number 3892657 Dated to the month and week correct for this car, which was also a MS (4-speed) engine.  It is not original to this exact car, but as close as one can get. Heads match. Also have original pistons/Rods. note: This casting number is unique to SS350 Camaros.  No other vehicle used this casting number..making them EXTREMELY hard to come by... especially when they are date correct to the week of manufacture... which this is.

Overall, this is a fairly complete car that needs a complete, and total restoration. All of the hardest to locate parts are present... leaving the easy, readily available parts to purchase.
The Body on this car is salvageable, but has been sitting and is as rough as they come.  Needs entire floor/Trunk from the firewall back. Lower quarters are needed. The entire trunk and rear floor pan of this car is shot, which is why the car sits as it does.  Probably best to do inner/outer wheelhouses as well. Rockers need work, but aren't a total waste, and could be saved with a little work. there's rust around both windshields and the dash which needs attention.  To me: this is a good candidate for a re-body... but a competent shop could save it.  All of the hidden stamps are present and match.  Original GM SS hood is very nice. front clip is salvageable.  All of the seats are there, but of course, need restored.  all the wiring and RS stuff is intact. 50% of the brackets/ misc smalls are there for the car in boxes from whenever it was disassembled, they're just not in the photos. The Front Subframe is good. Original Drum brakes front and rear.
I THINK this was a console car based on some wiring i see... but it's not on the trim tag so i can't say for absolutely certain.
Feel free to text me for additional information... but that's the overview.  Factory 4 Speed Red SS Cars are almost impossible to find and are investment level cars these days. I have a Clear Ohio Title.
Sold as is where is. I'm very familiar with shipping vehicles and can help load and arrange transportation or deliver locally for a fee.
