We will start off with the exterior of this Camaro. The body on it is all rock solid and we can see that it has great panel fit. Down the sides are straight and all the body lines flow beautiful from front to back. This '68 is showcased by the Matador Red Paint that's accented by the SS Stripes that's done in white. The paint was redone in base coat clear coat and the stripe is laid under the clear. It's been buffed and polished out to a gorgeous finish that's slick as a ribbon. This Red is also accented by the White Convertible Top and the White Boot for when the top is down. You'll notice this Camaro has the Super Sport Hood along with having the Rally Sport Hidden Headlight Equipment. Up front the grill is in excellent condition and it has the front chin spoiler. Both the front and rear bumpers look to have been replaced at the time of the restoration. Out back it has the rear spoiler, and we can see that all the bezels and lenses are beautiful. Down the sides we can see that it sports the wheel opening molding along with the lower body molding. TO finish off the stan it's sitting on the factory style Rally Wheels with Beauty Rings, Center Caps and Firestone Wide Oval White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '68. On the inside it's done in the Parchment Color Combo that is the factory option. A lot of this interior looks to be original and is in phenomenal condition for its age. It features the custom deluxe option with bucket seats and console. The door panels are beautiful and have the factory crank windows that all go up and down with ease and a great fit. All the seat covers look amazing, and the padding is in great condition. This '68 even has the factory over shoulder seat belt retainer on the back panels. The console houses the automatic horseshoe shifter that's accented by the wood grain that ties in perfectly to the dash. Looking at the dash we can see that the pad looks amazing and still has an awesome fit. All the gauges are working as they should and are in great condition as well. Inside the trunk is all solid and it's detailed out with the trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it all has a gorgeous detail, and we can see that the inner fenders and firewall are all solid. The power comes from the matching numbers 327 V8 Engine that's been upgraded and set up with the Holley Sniper Carb. This engine was completely gone through, balanced, and set up with aluminum heads before install. It's dressed out with the Chevrolet Bow Tie valve covers and matching air cleaner. To keep it cool it's been upgraded to an aluminum Radiator. For exhaust it has headers with new pipes and mufflers. This Camaro comes with Power Steering. When we look under it we can see that the subframe is all solid and in great condition. All of the steering and suspension looks great along with all the bushings. The floor pans are all solid as well along with the frame rails out back. The 327 engine runs through the Power Glide Automatic Transmission and the 10 Bolt Rear End. On the highway this Camaro runs phenomenal, and the transmission shifts out smooth. It handles with ease and stops true. It's truly a turnkey and cruise car that's a blast to drive. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A 00.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
