If you're going to dream, dream big. Clearly someone wanted to build the ultimate Camaro and pulled out all the stops to create this stunning 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute. With a thundering 454 V8 big block under the hood, a quick-shifting Muncie 4-speed gearbox managing the gears, and a gorgeous black-on-black color combination, this is the vintage Camaro we all wish we owned.
Seriously, if you could have a vintage Camaro built any way you wanted, isn't this pretty much what you'd wish for? First off, 1969 is the ultimate Camaro year, and once you find an example as solid as this, painting a sinister shade of black is almost the only reasonable choice. The bodywork is in great shape and there's no mistaking that fantastic F-Body profile that's perfected by this Camaro's styling. The slick black paint isn't this car's original color (that would be Code 65 Olympic Gold – so this is definitely one of those instances where changing the factory script improves the vehicle today), but when seeing the off-the-charts curb appeal of this muscle car, who can argue with the results? It's no longer a 'show pony', in fact the build is said to have been completed 20+ years ago, although those years shouldn't scare off a potential buyer but rather provide him with the confidence that when this car was put together, it was done the right way. It's obvious this Camaro has been extremely well cared for since it was restored –having most recently lived in a very prominent local collection – and as a strong driver-quality car today, it still shows very nicely. A cowl hood, ducktail spoiler, and white Z/28 stripes make it look predatory, and you'll note that the front fenders wear '427' emblems to warn off any potential challengers. There were no liberties taken with the Camaro's classic shape, and it offers a few upgrades like the chin spoiler and fog light set-up in the front, the polished wheel well moldings and rocker panel trim at the sides, and the big Hurst badge out back, all of which do a lot to really dress things up. It's not a perfect trailer queen, but when it's hammering down the highway everyone will want to be the guy behind the wheel, and from that vantage point, this car is nothing but exciting.
From behind the wheel, there's no way to tell that this isn't a beautifully restored, stock Camaro. Black Camaro interiors seem to always looks elegant and sporty, and despite the age of the restoration the workmanship is still in very good condition throughout. A wood applique adorned center console features a cue-ball topped Hurst shifter that manages the 4-speed manual below, and the upgraded wood-rimmed Grant steering wheel at the helm is a perfect dance partner. Beyond the steering wheel lay a set of factory gauges, although with the upgraded motor under the hood, the rally-pack style gauges at the head of the center console keep a closer eye on the vitals. Options are fairly sparse, but you do get power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes, seatbelts, a working heater/defrost unit, and an upgraded AM/FM/AUX stereo that was neatly installed inside the factory slot. All the black upholstery on the seats and door panels is in great shape, showing only minor signs of use and age (most of which are limited to the driver's seat), and the matching black carpets and headliner insulate the cabin from the outside world. The back seat likely hasn't seen a passenger this decade and still feels very fresh, while out back the surprisingly spacious trunk houses a full-size spare tire and shows off super-solid pans covered in factory-style spatter paint.
Brutal is one word for the mammoth 454 cubic inch big block under the hood. Fitted with a lopey (but not over-the-top) cam, a steel crank, SpeedPro dome pistons, and larger valve springs, the motor takes no prisoners and is ready to rip torque through the asphalt. It can also be remarkably docile and easy to manage in real-world traffic thanks to an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a big Holley 4-barrel carburetor up top, and with a recent set of long-tube header feeding into a throaty Magnaflow X-pipe dual exhaust system, the soundtrack is fantastic. Dressed to resemble the stock big blocks of the late 1960's, the engine itself was coated in Chevy Orange enamel and adorned with polished valve covers and a matching chrome open-element air cleaner, and with an upgraded HEI ignition and giant radiator up front, it can easily handle regular driving. Power 4-wheel disc brakes and power steering tame this beast for a more pleasant driving experience, although the Muncie 4-speed gearbox is certainly forgiving if you really want to put your foot into it, and leaf springs out back do their best to plant the power coming from a beefy 12-bolt rear end. Bright American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are always a timeless look on a 1st gen Camaro, and this one wears modern-sized 215/70/15 front and 245/60/15 rear Mickey Thompson white-letter radials for a pure look.
If you're looking for a slick, weaponized, big block Camaro, look no further. This black '69 has lots of pop, and style for days. Call today!

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).
FEES
: A documentation fee of 9 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.
AVAILABILITY
: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment's notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.
CONTACT
: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.
INSPECTION
: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it's important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.
SHIPPING
: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.
DRIVE IT HOME
: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.
DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE
: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.
VIN VERIFICATION
: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle's current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.
MILEAGES
: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.
CONDITION
: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.
AS-IS
: All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle's condition. Ask the hard questions up front. Please just call us, we are here to help and welcome all your questions!
