When only the real thing will do, this code-X33 real-1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS is the one to quench your muscle car desire. Fully restored, including distinctive paint and DZ-code 302 V8, this is your chance to grab a dream car.
The trim tag tells a rare and desirable story. After all, the X33 tells us you're looking at a Z/28. Even without the allure of a true Z-car, you have a deep desire for this one. When this Camaro went through its restoration, they paid special attention to making sure the Fathom Green paint looked great. It's a less common color that was only offered in 1969, so there was a real investment in a professional respray to make sure this coupe could show off its deeper, darker hue in the sunlight. Originally Frost Green, the shiny paint works with super straight bodywork, to offer a combination that truly stands out on arguably the most iconic Camaro ever. The design lines are accented by all the correct X33 Z/28 features, including the cowl induction hood, deep front air dam, and full-width rear spoiler. And while the best Z/28s got racing stripes, this one goes the extra mile. The white painted streaks have a crisp style, and they coordinate with the white vinyl roof for an outstanding touch of premium. Another truly desirable piece is that the X33 means this was likely born with the hidden headlight Rally Sport front end. A solid investment in the brightwork means the chrome bumpers and trim really pop against the dark paint. This is a terrific total package that took the time to get the details correct. So there's a feeling of authenticity, right down to the larger 15-inch Rally wheels that belong on a Z/28. And they even sit on classic Goodyear GT tires.
The doors open swiftly to reveal a factory-correct green interior. It is a great interior color because it represents the 1960s so well, and it's really a nice coordinating hue against the green on the outside. Just like the exterior, the interior can impress with the details. That means smooth wood-like trim, headrests, working dome light, correct trunk with spare, and there's not a button missing from the seatbacks. Even the Delco AM/FM radio is still cranking tunes. But the reason why you want this one is for the driving experience. The factory dual-spoke steering wheel gives you a clear view of the large speedo and tach. The iconic quad auxiliary gauge package is nestled in the center console. And we know you'll never want to let go of the bright Hurst shifter.
The engine is why the Z/28 is so special. So it's important to have a DZ-code 302 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. The engine bay received just as much attention as the rest of the car during the restoration. With the finned valve covers, Delco battery cover, and overall clean style, it almost feels like you're picking this up from the Norwood plant. You'll love how this one correctly inhales from a fresh air cowl hood and four-barrel carburetor. It all sits on top of the GM Winters intake. The dual exhaust allows it to exhale with the right V8 tune. Also, part of this legend is serious power and torque. You get to take full advantage of all of this thanks to the four-speed transmission. Control is also well in hand, thanks to power brakes, front discs, and power steering.
Complete with the owner's manual, even the undercarriage photos confirm the level of detail in this restoration. Yes, this Z/28 is quite special, and if you hurry, it can all be yours. Call now!

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).
