This 1972 Datsun 240Z is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven.

Inspections are welcome and encouraged. There is no warranty implied of any kind. I have the paperwork on the car but not clear title as the DMV wants a CHP inspection first. I have paid 500.00 to the DMV to release liability from the person I purchased it from and to pay fees..I can attach a used trailer axle, trailer wheels and tires if the buyer wishes at an additional cost of 0.00 so the rear of the car is a roller.. The boat trailer is not included in the sale. This auction is for a damaged chassis only and the parts that remain attached to the vehicle as seen in the pictures. Thank you for looking! Vehicle Details
This was a running driving car about a year ago..The previous owner had an accident and hit the right front corner or passenger front quarter. There is significant damage to the passenger frame rail and surrounding structural metal supporting the frame rail and fender as well as the radiator supports. There is additional damage to the lower passenger side of the firewall.
This may be a great project for someone with welding skills or someone wishing to do a tube frame front end or race car. The majority of the car is in excellent shape with the exception of the floorboards which I would describe as fair but structurally sound. Included is the pristine headliner, stainless trim above doors, original wiring harness, used brake master cylinder. I do have most of the original parts to the car and may be willing to part with them for the right price but they are NOT INCLUDED in this sale. I have other Z’s to which they would be valuable..
The roof of this car, rear panel, rear quarters, rockers, door areas all look near perfect..

Excellent quality paint job .2 colors over original lime green. Looks like it had been blue at one point. Minimal rust on most of chassis. A few pinholes on passenger floor.
Engine
Impact damage to passenger side of front clip and firewall was pushed in on that side. Driver side frame rail looks great but hydraulic fluid has lifted some of original paint on frame rail..in a few areas.
