Description

You are bidding on a US Springfield Allin Trapdoor conversion barrel.
The barrel has the rear sight, front sight, and breech block.
The barrel is 40 inches and 42 inches with the tang.
The bore is a dull gray with a reflection.
The lands and grooves are well defined.
The external metal is a plumb color on the top and bright on the bottom.
There is an eagle on the left side.
The breech block is dated 1866.
The curved metal spring on the bottom is broken.
The latch release is missing a screw.
It is being sold as is where is for parts.
