THE GRIP IS MADE OF A SECTION OF RIFLE BARREL WITH ALL THE MARKINGS WELL PRESERVED, PONNEL HAS A WONDERFUL SILVER SHIELD WITH AMERICAN FLAG ON IT. BLADE IS VERY STRONG SINGLE-EDGED WITH DOUBLE-EDGED SPEAR-POINT, GUARD IS OF THICK STRONG STEEL AND HAS INTERESTING PATTERNS. CONDITION IS GOOD WITH PATINA AND AGE WEAR, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1800s.
