Indian Wars Medal On Very Old Native Trading Beads

This neat item has an old Indian Wars medal made into a necklace of beads. The medal does not have a number so it was not officially government issued but after the turn of the century several companies made copies due to the fact that veterans of that conflict did not have records or proof to obtain theirs from the government, so they'd buy the copies. The beads look like old trading beads from a Native American tribe, possibly Kansas or Oklahoma area. The string tying the ends together is indeed very old. This item could have been owned by a veteran in the 1900s-1920s.
