Description

S202T, Cross rifles of stitched and embroidered thread, PA state side buttons for militia, chin strap of woven gold plated cord has a large jacket button attached to it. Interior lining shows wear and some damage, but leather sweat band intact, shows signs of some use, hard leather visor has unfinished edge typical of Civil War/Indian Wars head gear. Blue surge wool throughout, very good to excellent condition, from front visor to edge of hat band 9" x side to side 6", few have survived time, ship weight 2 pounds.
