Item Description:
This auction is for (x2) brand new Thomson leadscrew assemblies.
The screw is a Thomson SPR2-3708S stainless steel 'precision'
leadscrew
that measures 3/8" diameter x 0.25" pitch (4tpi). Both ends of the leadscrew
are machined to 1/4" diameter (see photos for more details). The nut is
a Thomson SNAB2-3708X anti-backlash 'SuperNut' with 5/8-18 UNF mount.

SNAB Anti-Backlash Nuts
Thomson's SNAB thread-mount style design has the greatest design flexibility allowing anti-backlash assemblies through 1 inch diameters. Often imitated, this design offers extreme simplicity. Slightly less stiff than the XC series lead screw nuts, but still providing zero backlash up to the preload weight in the catalog specifications.
All SNABs are made from our internally lubricated Acetal providing excellent lubricity and very low wear.
Lead and Acme Screws
A great lead nut can’t perform without a top quality lead screw.
Thomson BSA® screws are constructed of 300 series stainless steel and offer a high luster surface finish with excellent corrosion resistance.
Standard sizes are available from 3/16” to 3” diameters.
All lead screws are precision rolled to achieve lead accuracies of up to .003 inch per foot.
We use optimized thread forms on most sizes to achieve the best possible performance when used with our polymer nuts.
We also configure the ends of the majority of the screws we ship to customer requirements.
