    Description

    Post Civil War U.S. Model 1860 Staff and Field Officers' Sword measuring 36" overall with a blade length of 29". Blade shows a dark silver patina with fading floral/leaves etched on blade. Does not appear to be maker marked. Screw placed on hilt where button to fold the counter-guard. Wire wrapped shark-skin grip. Scabbard has a dark brown patina and is missing the drag.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
