Vintage Steering Wheel Knob with Dog

For your consideration:
Vintage Steering Wheel Knob with Dog.
Not sure of the breed of dog, but my dad raised Dobermans, back in the 70's and 80's, and he had this on his old Ford truck.
The clear part of this is in really good shape, no deep scratches or nicks missing. The white part of it has some black marks and would probably clean up with a bit of Ajax. The ring shows slight pitting, but it's not bad.
All in all a really cool, unique piece.
